About the course
This accredited programme explores the application of psychology to promoting health, understanding illness and improving healthcare.
Health psychology is an expanding area of global employment with opportunities for graduates in hospitals, universities and community-based organisations. Designed and delivered in collaboration with researchers and practitioners within the field, this course will give you the opportunity to explore the many ways in which psychology can be applied to an understanding of health and illness and to modern healthcare systems.
Entry Requirements
Applicants are usually expected to possess (or be predicted to obtain) a First or 2:1 award from a BPS-accredited psychology course.
Students with a 2:2 award will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We will consider applications from students with non-Psychology undergraduate awards of 2:1 or above where candidates can justify significant experience in a health context and/or knowledge of health practices, policies and systems
You must complete a declaration form and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) disclosure application form (if you are overseas
