MSc Oil and Gas Management

Course Description

The oil and gas sector remains one of the world's most innovative, lucrative and fast-evolving industries. The industry is structured around complex supply chains which connect oil and gas sources to customers. Effective management and efficient operation of these supply chains is essential to ensure end products reach customers on time, at affordable prices and with the required quality. This course equips you with the skills you need to succeed in a management career in the oil and gas industry.

This course is designed for
-Recent graduates interested in a career in the rapidly growing oil and gas industry.
-Current practitioners wanting to advance their careers to become specialists or managers.
-Engineers and managers looking to gain specialist knowledge and skills.

You focus on three key areas – management, IT and technology. The management focus provides you with insight into financial, marketing and operational aspects of oil and gas supply chains and introduces the latest developments in the sector. You develop your knowledge of essential technologies and materials in relation to the maintenance of oil and gas infrastructure. You explore corporate level IT systems and various modelling tools that can be used to study operations in detail.

The course has been developed by a team of experienced academics, and gives you the opportunity to interact with industry experts and a wide range of companies.
