This programme addresses organisational functioning from individual and group perspectives. It examines internal factors such as organisational communication and organisational culture as well as external factors such as the impact of technological change on the wellbeing, motivation and performance of workers. It considers many different types of organisation, asking how the input of all stakeholders can be maximised for both quality of life and productivity.
This programme provides professional training for those wishing to become chartered occupational psychologists, whilst retaining the academic rigours of a master’s degree. Delivered through lectures, visits, guest speakers, experiential learning and individual and group work, the programme offers a strong emphasis both on the development of skills that can be transferred into real-world settings and upon reflective experiential learning.
