About the course

Taught by the triple accredited University of Exeter Business School.

Designed for students interested in a career in finance and economics in the international banking sector.

Delivered jointly by the Department of Economics and the Xfi Centre for Finance and Investment, you’ll focus on the application of advanced economics and finance theories to commercial money markets and banking.

Gain intensive computer training on financial databases and software including Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, IQ, and Morning Star.

Entry Requirements

A mid 2:2 degree (50%+) with honours in an Economics or related discipline from a recognised university, including degrees where Economics is a "minor" subject. Evidence of mathematical/quantitative ability is required.

We do consider all applications where there is evidence of exceptional performance in modules relevant to the programme of study, significant relevant work experience or professional qualifications.

Scholarships

These will be awarded to an academically gifted candidate resident in the UK and continental Europe, who would not be able to study without this financial assistance.

This scholarship is funded by donations from a Business School alumnus.

The scholarship requires you to have an English language level of IELTS 7.0 with no section less than 6.0, or equivalent. You will need to provide evidence of funding received during your undergraduate degree.

£12,500

Eligibility

Two scholarships of £12,500 are available to students who have had an application accepted to one of the Business School MSc programmes for September 2021 entry.
