Our Mission

Since its foundation in 1863, Politecnico di Milano has been educating highly skilled professionals who have made a fundamental contribution to innovative research and industrial development in Italy. The university’s reputation is acknowledged globally: according to the QS ranking by subject 2020, Politecnico di Milano is 20^th best worldwide for Engineering and Technology. In particular, Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering are ranked 9th, Electrical and Electronic Engineering are ranked 17^th.

Brand new programmes have been added to the traditional Engineering courses to meet the ever-evolving market demands, such as Food Engineering, Geoinformatics Engineering, Mobility Engineering, Bioinformatics for Computational Genomics (joint Degree with Università Statale) and Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance (joint Degree with Bocconi University).
