The best part about studying Mining is how diverse and practical it is, the facilities we use are world-class and our professors have written most of the text books we learn from, they’re always one step ahead, teaching us things they are currently researching. The support they offer is great too, they have an open-door policy which means we can always pop in and ask them anything we need to.
Studying in Cornwall is great, it’s a very beautiful place to live and study. My advice would be to make the most of the summer and have fun travelling around the Cornish museums and beaches.
