About the course

In a world that is finally beginning to understand the importance of the Ocean in our lives, it is essential that scientific and socio-economic stakeholders work together. MSc MARRES was designed with the recent evolution of the job market in response to the emergence of the Blue growth around the world. Our interdisciplinary approach from marine biology to innovation, combined with extensive professional experiences, broadens the horizon of possibilities and guides students toward a blue career.

Entry Requirements

MSc Science & Society track requires a solid background in life science with a 3 or 4-year bachelor degree in a related discipline (biology, conservation and/or biochemistry). The program also accepts students with other backgrounds (e.g. engineering, management, economics, communication), provided they can demonstrate exceptional levels of maturity, motivation and good knowledge of biology or marine science, acquired through non-academic channels (e.g. extensive diving experiences and marine conservation programs). Applicants without the required background can take the Science Booster course. An English level of B2 minimum is required.

Fees

Tuition fees are €7,000 per year in 2023/24 (tuition fees for academic year 2024/25 to be confirmed).
