About the course
As we are only now beginning to uncover the role of the ocean in our society, it's crucial to bring together scientific, economic and societal stakeholders. The greater understanding of marine ecosystems offered by scientists is now opening up brand new socio-economic opportunities.
The objective: develop our knowledge of the ocean to better value and protect its resources.
Our aim: to open students' employability. Our interdisciplinary approach, combined with empowering immersion projects, allows students to become researchers, conservation specialists, environmental consultant, or entrepreneurs.
Entry Requirements
MARRES is a scientific graduate program. It requires a solid background in life science obtained thanks to a 3 or 4-year bachelor or licence (French term) in a related discipline (biology, conservation and/or biochemistry). Anyway, we regularly open our program to students with other backgrounds (such as engineering, management, economy, communication), provided they can demonstrate outstanding levels of maturity, motivation and an already good knowledge of biology in general, or marine science in particular, acquired from non-academic pipelines (such as great diving experiences and marine conservation programs).
Fees
Tuition fees are €5,000 per year.
However, tuition fee may vary according to your residence status, namely if you are a resident of an EU country or of a country outside the EU.
