MSc International Accounting and Management

Course Description

Our MSc International Accounting and Management programme is designed to offer contemporary and relevant knowledge in the area of international accounting and management of the company by combining key international business focused accounting modules as well as management modules which have a examine the more strategic and quantitative aspects of management. This combination allows graduates to develop careers in various organisations, including private companies and the public sector, either as accountants in business or as financially skilled managers who intend to be promoted to more senior managerial positions.

PLUS one optional course from: Human Resource Management; International Managerial Accounting; International Accounting Theory; or Project Procurement & Contract Management.

Students who successfully complete all the required taught modules then go on over the summer months to undertake their disseration, leading to a written thesis of 12,000 15,000 words.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold a good Honours degree (first or second class), or its non-UK equivalent, in a relevant subject from a recognised British or overseas university. In addition, further work or project experience in finance will be an advantage.
