MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies


Course Description

This course is grounded in a multidisciplinary approach. The aim is to help students understand the complex and varied nature of forced migration and its centrality to global processes of political, social and economic change, as well as the needs and aspirations of refugees/forced migrants themselves. Students gain a broad understanding of the literature on forced migration and are introduced to a range of methodologies relevant to the field. The course is suited to those who are planning a career in policy and practice or whose aim is to pursue future research in the field of forced migration.
