Information systems have quickly become an essential part of society, driving business, industry and public services.
The ability to manage and understand information systems is now viewed as one of the most important business skills of the future. Today, those with an information systems education are typically recruited as business systems analysts, management consultants and IT directors.
This online master’s programme will help equip you with the critical thinking skills required to excel in a management position within this dynamic and evolving sector.
Through shared group activities and individual assignments you will explore the practical applications of contemporary theory for leading, managing others and working independently to ensure you and your organisation stay at the forefront of this key field in business.
Each of the Roehampton Online masters programmes has been designed to help you move forward in your life and follows the same basic structure.
Every online programme is made up of seven modules and a research project. Every module lasts 12 weeks. You then have a break of approximately two weeks before resuming your studies. Your research project is much like a dissertation, in which all previous leaning culminates in an academic research paper. Modules equate to 20 academic credits while your research project carries 40 credits – but you have 26 weeks to complete that part of your programme.
“I have studied at a university in London and met others from different countries, but the impact was not as great as what I am experiencing with online learning. The interactive nature of learning at the University of Roehampton Online is a lot more effective, personal, and real.”
“I think the thing that stood out more than anything for Roehampton, was that somebody took the time to talk to me and took me through the application process.”
