Course content

This course aims to investigate how those features which are unique to the equine industry relate to modern business and management strategies. You'll study the role of the horse in modern society (sociological/cultural & economic implications)advanced management; business & marketing techniques and how they apply to the horse industry; current & future developments of the UK equine industry; international perspectives (including opportunities and their implications for future developments. The final dissertation will enable you to study a particular area of interest in depth and may include the opportunity to undertake research in an equine business setting.
