Course Description

This programme is a one-year full-time course leading to a Master of Science Degree. It is specifically aimed at candidates holding a professional qualification or equivalent in engineering or related disciplines. The course is aimed at providing graduates with a high level of applied computing skills as applied to engineering.

Career Opportunities

This course will provide engineers and technologists with the opportunity to specialise in the application of computing technology to engineering. It will equip the successful graduate for a career as a computing specialist primarily in engineering, technology and in the computing industry.

Entry Requirements

Each taught module is assessed via coursework assignments and an end-of-semester exam. Coursework is worth up to 40% of each module’s mark. The dissertation will be assessed on the research work carried out and the presentation of the thesis.
