Entry Requirements

You can apply for this master’s programme with a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree from abroad within the economic domain and related fields. The admission procedure consists of:
1. Application via Studielink and submission of a video pitch in which you showcase your background, motivation, and research experience. 2. An online admission exam. The Admissions Committee can request for additional supporting documents or examination in the form of an (online) interview.

Scholarships

The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to study in the Netherlands. The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The Holland Scholarship at Hanze is available for the following programmes:

* You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
* You have to actively study at Hanze UAS and participate in classes and all projects in the Netherlands.
* Please note that programmes may set specific requirements. You can find these on the programme pages (see above).

Application Procedure

If you wish to become eligible for the scholarship, you first have to apply for the programme itself. After you have been admitted to the programme, you will receive an email with an invitation to apply for the scholarship through the admissions officer of the programme. You will get a link to the online Holland Scholarship application tool from Hanze UAS. You will be informed about the result of our selection in July at the latest. Further practical information concerning procedure and payment will be sent to you as soon as you have been selected.

The Hanze Scholarship programme offers scholarships to master's students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to pursue their master's degree at Hanze UAS, Groningen. The scholarship is a contribution towards to costs of living in the Netherlands and is, in principle, awarded for the nominal duration of the programme.
