MSc Health Psychology


Course Description

The course follows the framework for professional training in health psychology developed by the Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society. The MSc aims to give you an overview of health psychology with a focus on the methodologies and models underpinning health research and practice. Consideration of ethical and professional issues is central to the course.

Core modules include: Health Psychology Core Issues, Communication Issues in Health Care Settings, The Impact and Experience of Chronic Illness, Applications of Health Psychology, Research Methods Awareness, Research Methods in Health Psychology and a Dissertation.
