About the programme

This course is a joint collaboration between the European Heart Academy of ESC and London School of Economics (LSE).

The Executive MSc Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences prepares students to explore new advisory, management and leadership roles within the healthcare field. In addition to gaining a theoretical and conceptual understanding of health economics, outcomes research, management and relevant social science principles of the cardiovascular disease fields, students will acquire new skills to accelerate or refocus their careers.

Program Features

The programme consists of eight modules and one MSc dissertation over two academic years. On-site modules are taught two weeks in December and two weeks in June, each year, at the London School of Economics (LSE) in London. In addition to time spent in the classroom, students will also be expected to complete coursework from a distance. Modules will be taught in London.

The ESC supports the education of future leaders in cardiovascular medicine by offering 15 scholarships of £15,500/programme for the December 2017 entry.

Applications for the ESC scholarships are now closed.

There is no application deadline. Applications are accepted until the programme is full. However, the programme tends to be at capacity no later than September/October each year - the later a submission comes through, the more competitive it will be for an applicant.
