Summary

This course provides an opportunity to investigate current debates about the changing nature of global politics and offers rigorous and extensive training in social science research methods.

Modules

The increasingly global nature of political relations is typically underscored by equally global economic relations in trade, finance, migration, concern over which is reflected in questions about shifting loci of global authority from 'west' (eg Europe and the USA) to 'east' (eg China and India) and ongoing relationships between the global rich and the global poor.

This course provides an opportunity to investigate current debates about the changing nature of global politics, and offers broad training in social science methods.
