Entry Requirements

A good honours degree (minimum 2:2) from the UK or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification in a finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics or engineering related discipline.

All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications.

Scholarships

Our new ‘Excellence Scholarships’ are open to all UK, EU and International Master’s applicants across all Kent Business School taught MSc programmes. They are awarded based on outstanding academic merit with awards up to a maximum of £5,000.

Awards will be considered on a rolling basis by the Scholarship Awarding Panel every month, with successful candidates notified within one week of the panel meeting.

The University reserves the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel identifies no suitable candidates.

Eligibility

To be eligible:

- Applicants must have made a formal application to study onto a Master's programme at Kent Business School and be in receipt of an offer for September 2020 entry.
- Be self-funded
- Applicants should hold (or expect to hold) a first-class degree (or equivalent). Students with a borderline 2:1/First degree will also be considered.
- Submit a supporting statement discussing how studying your chosen Master's programme at Kent Business School will enhance your career and personal development

You can apply for the Kent Business School Excellence Scholarship only after you have received a formal offer to study a Masters programme at Kent Business School.

Kent Business School automatically considers applications for its Programme Director scholarships which are available for students applying to study onto a master’s programme offered within the School and who have an outstanding academic background.

Awards up to £2,000

Eligibility

To be eligible:

- Applicants must have made a formal application to study onto a Master's programme at Kent Business School and be in receipt of an offer for September 2020 entry.
- Applicants should hold (or expect to hold) a first-class degree (or equivalent). Students with a borderline 2:1/First degree will also be considered.
- Applicants who have previously studied their first degree at the University of Kent are not eligible for this Scholarship but can be considered for the KBS Loyalty Award.

Application Procedure

This scholarship can only be considered after you have submitted a formal application to study onto an MSc programme at Kent Business School and have received a formal offer for 2020 entry.

No scholarship application required as awards will be considered on a rolling basis by the Scholarship Panel.

Applicants will be notified at offer stage if successful.

Kent Business School offers applicants incentives to commit early. Kent Business School is pleased to offer a range of hardship bursaries to the UK, EU and International postgraduate taught students who require financial support in order to undertake and complete their master's studies.

This fund considers all students who are in financial hardship and is not based on academic requirements.

Awards up to £3,000

Eligibility

To be eligible candidates must:

- Be self-funded
- Submit a maximum 750-word supporting statement describing your current circumstance, detailing why you require the extra funding and should be considered for a hardship bursary.
- Be in receipt of a formal offer to study onto a Masters programme at Kent Business School for 2020 entry.

Awards will be considered on a rolling basis by the Scholarship Awarding Panel every month, with successful candidates notified within one week of the panel meeting.
