Entry Requirements

As a conversion Master’s degree, this course has a wider admission than would normally be expected.

A good honours degree (normally 2:1 or above) in a science, maths, engineering, or cognitive field would be expected, or one where the applicant can show technical discipline.

Applicants for January intake will be required to have a background in Computer Science, related discipline, and/or relevant work experience

The decision to undertake postgraduate studies stemmed from my experience of 11 years within the Armed Forces. Cybersecurity is fundamental within secure roles, and imperative to protect from unknown threats. My passion surrounding cybersecurity is due to the ever changing IT industry.

I am enjoying the challenges this course is providing. The skills I am learning are assisting me in my current role, and allowing myself confidence to perform to my best ability.
