About the course
Our MSc Corporate Finance is designed to prepare you for a career in the treasury department of a large company or the corporate finance team of an investment bank. It is also suitable if you wish to work in a management consultancy role with a finance focus or an advisory role with an accounting or professional services company.
This applied Corporate Finance master's encompasses diverse topics such as mergers and acquisitions, issuing capital, cash management, corporate payout policy, managing foreign exchange exposure and executive compensation. It will provide you with tools to evaluate corporate finance issues, improve financial management practice and work in professional corporate finance roles.
Entry Requirements
A 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification) in business, accounting, maths, physics, engineering, computing, economics or a minor in finance.
Applications will also be considered from those who do not meet this criteria but who can demonstrate numerical proficiency and have either:
an appropriate professional qualification in finance
more than one year of relevant work experience if they have at least a lower second class honours degree (2:2).
