With a focus on the epidemiology and pathology of chronic diseases, the part-time MSc Clinical Exercise Physiology course will develop your understanding of the physiological and psychological factors associated with disease, and the role of exercise as a medicine in the prevention, treatment and management of conditions.
On completion of this two-year course you will possess the necessary knowledge and skills to assess an individual’s physical status and quality of life to provide a bespoke solution to enhance their daily living.
A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in a related subject area such as sport science, physical education, or physiotherapy. Or, an honours degree in another discipline which includes anatomy and physiology. Work experience in a relevant field and/or a professional qualification may also be considered.
