This master level course is designed to enable chemistry graduates to explore advanced chemistry topics, and to specialize in nanotechnology. In semester one, you study Advanced Inorganic Chemistry 2 and Hot Topics in Materials and Physical Chemistry as well as using key research tools to plan your chosen research project. In semester two, you develop a specialist knowledge of nanotechnology through modules in Topics in Nanotechnology and Advanced Topics in Nanotechnology. In semester three, you spend all of your time on an advanced nanotechnology research project culminating in a Masters level thesis and an oral presentation of your research successes.
A first or second class BSc honours degree, or equivalent, in chemistry or a related subject
