Student Profile

Dorothy Job Gandu

I chose Northumbria University London because of Northumbria's Business School's reputation. I would like to start a career within the business sector, so I felt it was best to study at a university that excels in that area.

The recruitment advisors were very friendly as well. They made me feel wanted and welcome when I emailed them before applying - they enticed me to apply.

I really like the university because practical work was incorporated during the programme which has helped me to gain practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge. The lecturers also made me feel very comfortable. They are extremely experienced and knowledgeable and this has really helped my learning. All of the staff at the university are very easy to contact; they're supportive and understanding, even of personal issues.

The modules are very interesting and enjoybale too. They are well structured and helpful. When I'm in class I feel like I am in a real-life situation rather than in a classroom learning and I think this helps us to learn better.
