This course will:
• enable you to tailor the content to your area of interest, allowing you to choose one of two pathways (Sport and Exercise Psychology or Physiology) or study a mix of these disciplines • provide you with the skills and knowledge to develop as an applied sport and exercise practitioner, through real world learning and support from a team of professionals • expand your research skills and allow you to gain first-hand experience working in the field of sport and exercise science.
About this course
This course enables you to focus on the sport and exercise science discipline of your choice, so you can tailor your learning to your area of interest.
Studying this course will provide you with access to a team of professionals with experience of working in applied settings, and can mentor you through gaining applied experience as a practitioner in the discipline of your choice.
Our partnerships with Team Derby and the Derbyshire Institute of Sport (DIS), for example, will provide you with the opportunity to work with athletes in a real world setting, to build your applied skills and put theory into practice.
We have experts in sport and exercise psychology, physiology, exercise and health, strength and conditioning, biomechanics and performance analysis, and nutrition, to enable you to access guidance in a field of your choice.
