MSc(Agr) Rural Environmental Conservation and Management


Course Description

This Programme is designed for those interested in the management and sustainable use of our natural resources and the rural environment. It is equally appropriate for those currently working within the agri-environment sector and who wish to upskill, or for graduates who wish to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to gain employment within this challenging but very rewarding area. The primary objective of the Programme is to provide advanced training in agri-environmental issues and policy requirements for the conservation and protection of natural resources and the rural environment at both farm and landscape level.

Entry Requirements

Honours degree in relevant discipline from recognised 3rd level institution.Progression to Masters dependent upon attainment of an average of 60% in Graduate Diploma examinations.English Language qualification applicable if English was not the language of instruction for the candidates’ first degree.
