Named routes: 'Social Care/Work' and 'Integrated Caring Science'

Discover our MRes routes within Health

The MRes Health (named routes) programme is available to both NIHR funded and non-funded students. It is designed as an introduction to research practice either as a standalone qualification or as a precursor to studying for a PhD.

The course focuses on developing your applied professional practice through fundamental and extended research methods training and a specialist choice from a suite of Masters modules.

Entry Requirements

An honours degree at 2:1 or higher in a related discipline.

In addition, candidates are required to have practical experience relating to their research question.

Applicants with extensive relevant industry experience with a 2.2 in a relevant field, and applicants with a first or upper second classification in a non-specified field with work experience in a relevant environment will be referred to the Programme leader for consideration.

You will also be required to attend an interview.
