Entry Requirements

You will need to have a minimum 2.2 class honours degree in a Biological Science from a UK university or international equivalent in order to be eligible to apply for this course.

Scholarships

The Chancellor’s Fund is a bi-annual fund providing students with awards of between £100 and £1,000. You must be a current student to apply.

The criteria for applications are:
- training and research
- extracurricular activities, cultural activities, volunteering or sport
- priority projects – linked to the University’s strategic plan, including new and innovative start-up projects where there is an opportunity for social impact

Please note that the fund does not cover the following:
- tuition fees
- accommodation as part of attending University
- travel to and from University or to placements which form part of a course of study
- equipment or materials required for assessed work (including computers/laptops/tablets)

Deadline:
Application deadlines are 30 October and 28 February each year.

All full-time courses taught on campus (excluding the Pre-sessional English courses) are eligible for this scheme, and applicants will be considered for a scholarship on the basis of academic achievement.

If you are successful you will receive up to 30% off your tuition fees for the duration of your course.

You do not have to apply for a scholarship separately, all international application forms are automatically considered for the scholarship when an application is made.
