Our research-based MRes in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences provides practical training and a highly specialised biochemical education.
The course is best suited for graduates in biochemistry, biology, structural biology, biomedical sciences and related disciplines.
There is considerable flexibility to focus on specialist subjects in line with your research interests and career intentions.
This full-time programme lasts for one academic year and involves two equally weighted research projects. You begin the first project in the autumn term and the second project in the summer term.

Our minimum requirement is a 2.1 degree in a biosciences-based subject.
Applicants should also demonstrate a commitment to a career in biosciences research.
We also accept a wide variety of international qualifications.
All candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to the College.
