Shape the future of adult, child, mental health or learning disability nursing with this new Masters which includes registration

The Masters in Nursing (MN) is a programme designed for graduates which enables you to achieve a post-graduate Masters qualification alongside gaining your nursing registration. The MN underpins all aspects of nursing practice and leads to eligibility for registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council professional register in Learning Disability.

It is a full-time, three year post-graduate degree which aims to provide you with a range of learning, teaching and assessment experiences that will enable you to become a critically reflective postgraduate nurse with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of your respective field of nursing.

Entry Requirements

The entry requirement for this course is a First degree or Honours degree.

In addition applicants must also have Higher/ A Level English C, Higher/ A Level Biology/Human Biology C and National 5/ GCSE C/4 Maths/or equivalent.

There will be a selection interview and all candidates must meet NMC requirements of good health and good character. Admission to the programme is dependent upon a satisfactory Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme check. This will be sent before the interview and will be conducted on the interview day. The cost of the PVG check will be paid by the University.
