Course description

MMedSci in Nursing Studies (Adult) leading to professional registration as an Adult Nurse.  The School has been commissioned by the NHS to provide the above course as an innovative route to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an Adult Nurse.

The nursing course will prepare nursing students to work within the NHS and health and social care sectors as nurses. The nursing course uses an innovative approach to learning alongside other health care professional groups and within health care settings to ensure that nursing students develop the competence for effective nursing practice, and the knowledge and confidence to progress their nursing careers effectively following qualification. Entry Requirements

You’ll need a 2:2 degree in a relevant area such as social sciences, human sciences, biomedical sciences, public services, and GCSE Mathematics, English and Science.

You’ll also need to show that you have 650 hours of health care experience.

English language requirements:
Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with 6.5 in Writing and a minimum of 7.0 in each component, or equivalent.
