About the course
The French MLitt allows you to research French at postgraduate level and either continue your studies on to a PhD or apply your knowledge across a wide variety of industries internationally. You draw from an incredible history and culture from medieval times to the present day. This programme is based on the School of Language, Literature, Film and Visual Culture. You benefit from international academics with impressive research portfolios and cross disciplinary links within literature, philosophy, film, history of art. As a fluent French speaker, you will have a range of career opportunities available to you after graduating in areas such as publishing, tourism, academia, politics, and much more.
