Mini-MBA – Certificate in Applied Management
Accredited MBA Level

The Mini-MBA Certificate Program in Applied Management is a practical program covering tools and theories you can use in your working life.

Featuring an MBA-accredited, award-winning strategy program and exercise, the Certificate in Applied Management is an intensive, three-month executive Mini-MBA certificate for managers. The curriculum covers the latest thinking on leadership and management along with the classics that form the foundations of current practice.

This real-world Mini-MBA program includes interactive case studies, practice activities, and expert feedback to help you acquire the skills necessary to become a high performer. The focus is on developing your leadership capacities as well as your strategic-thinking and communication skills — all in a global perspective. Learnings from the program can be applied immediately to your own situations.

After completing the Mini-MBA certificate program, you can continue on to the CBA program—the first part of the accredited Executive MBA. Credits can be applied toward the CBA for the “E-Learning Module (Developing as a Leader)” and the “Competition & Strategy – Management Simulation Exercise.” You will also receive a deduction of DKK 10,000 (excl. VAT) from your tuition fee.

Study Time & Enrollment
The program duration is three months part-time and offers open enrollment for managers with 5+ years of management experience. After completion, you will become a member of the distinguished AVT Alumni Network.

International Faculty
Our experienced faculty includes professors from well-known universities such as the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. The E-Learning Module (Developing as a Leader) is presented by Harvard Business Publishing.

Kick-off & Introduction
Together with the Dean of AVT, management expert and former top executive Jørgen Lindegaard will provide a program overview and discuss the concept of practical leadership. William Shea, Director of Client Relations at Harvard Business School, will introduce you to the E-Learning Module (Developing as a Leader).

Project Assignment
At the end of the Certificate in Applied Management program, all participants will work on an individual project assignment (PowerPoint format), with a focus on their own company. This assignment must be presented live to a selected member of our academic board, including Jørgen Lindegaard, and to the other participants of the program. It may be delivered either in Danish or English.
