Our MSc in Medical and Healthcare Education will prepare you to join the educational leaders of the future within the healthcare sector.
This course will give you a good grounding in methods of learning and teaching specifically in the healthcare context. By the time you graduate, your independent thinking and practice and your advanced knowledge base will mean you’re well placed to act as a role model, educator and mentor within an inter-professional context. The course is also designed to ensure you fully recognise the significance of the values and principles of care promoted by the NHS Constitution (DH 2010).

Entry Requirements

You’ll require a minimum of 3 years post professional registration/experience and a minimum of a 2:2 degree honours. You must be a registered practitioner in the field of health or social care. It’s anticipated that students will currently be employed in professional practice and engaged in facilitating teaching and learning as part of their role.If English is not your first language you’ll be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5.We welcome applications from international and EU students and accept a range of international qualifications.For more details visit the university website.
