The aim of this programme is to develop a critical and analytical approach to the study of Islam Education. Compulsory Modules are: Islamic Education: Theory and Practice; Developing Research Strategies in Islamic Education; Educational Studies: An Introduction; Dissertation. Optional Modules include: Islamic Sources: Qur’an and Sunnah; Muslims in Britain; modules chosen from other MA programmes
Normally at least a Second Class Honours Degree from a recognised university or the equivalent in a recognised subject area. Maturity and experience may also be considered.
Full Time: £4000 for Home Student and £7000 for International Students. Part Time: Available to home students only - £2200 per annum
