About the course

​​​The Physical Science and E​ngineering Division​​​

The Physical Science and E​ngineering Division currently offers six degree granting programs.  Guided by their advisors, students may choose courses and devise research projects that best suit their individual goals. Students can take full advantage of the interdisciplinary research​ opportunities that arise from across KAUST's fourteen academic programs, the three Divisions and our industrial partners.

In all programs students are offered modules consisting of lectures, seminars and laboratory classes. Students are expected to conduct independent research.​

Entry Requirements

There is no minimum GPA requirement and admission is based on merit. Most admitted students have a GPA of 3.4 out of 4.0 or higher, however, the review committee bases their decision on your application as a whole.

· Official TOEFL or IELTS English language proficiency score (TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
