Course Description

Plants and other naturally occurring products have historically provided the backbone of our medicine sources. This program provides a comprehensive study of herbs and their medicinal uses through the ages as well as in modern times.

Explores production, harvesting, processing and marketing of plants, parts and derivatives used as a supplement to conventional medicines. This course aims to deepen the scientific knowledge of disciplines still poorly understood but to which more and more patients around the world turn. The material is presented with a competent, professional approach and a broader vision.

Entry Requirements

Previous studies in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Herbology and/or Biology recommended. Strong command of written and spoken English. Distance learning course with open enrollment.
