Your programme of study

Masters in Education is specifically for teachers so that they can  progress their own interests and responsibilities and CPLD.  You are assessed in terms of activities and formative and summative elements and you can work your way towards 180 credits or choose to complete a PGDip or PGCert if you wish. The degree can empower you in your daily duties and provide a much richer experience for yourself and your students in terms of knowledge you can bring to your role. The degree can also be a useful element of progression within your area of work. You look at key policies shaping education and you lead change in a variety of policy and practice situations.

You follow your own interests within professional engagement from a list of available courses, taking Critical Approaches to Academic Literature and Research Methods. You can develop many more skills such as critical understanding and knowledge of major policy issues within education.
