This is a multi-disciplinary, international and comparative programme and the aim is to give the students skills to analyze and better understand learning and educational phenomena in different societies and cultures. The programme is a research programme, in preparation for Ph.D. studies. There are no course fees for EU/EEA students.

A Bachelor’s degree within the social sciences or a teacher’s certificate, or its equivalent, corresponding to 180 higher education credits (=180 ECTS) in undergraduate university studies.Since the programme is offered in English, a good mastery of that language is required. Swedish students must have successfully completed at least English B. Foreign students with English as second language must be able to verify their English proficiency (e.g. having a basic degree from an institution in an English-speaking country or a certificate documenting performance on an international test; in the case of TOEFL, a minimum score of 550 points is required).
