Despite the current situation provoked by COVID-19, the admissions team at Deusto Business School is available to answer any questions about our master's programmes via email, Skype, or over the phone.

The EIBM trains professionals to promote and lead the development of business projects - especially those with international or multicultural connotations – in collaboration with the objectives of a company and promoting its success in a committed, responsible and ethical fashion, in order to improve its competitiveness in a globalised environment.

The EIBM Master’s is a joint, official graduate programme taught in conjunction with Deusto Business School, AUDENCIA-Nantes École de Management and Bradford.

Sergio Camarero

"Camarero Blanco studied Psychology and went on to complete the Master’s degree in European and International Business Management. When he finished the Master’s, he did an internship with Leadership Developer at Arcelor Mittal (France) where they offered him a contract as Change Leader directing cross-cutting continuous improvement projects with over 1,000 people involved.

After a year in the position, he decided to embark on a business venture. He explained, “Thanks to what I learned in the Master's, which has stood me in good stead, I now own a company in Hong Kong and am co-owner of another. I lead a 14-person team at 3 different offices".

He commented that the “Master’s experience was very enriching" for several reasons: the knowledge of business that he acquired was totally applicable; he formed a contact network, learned French, improved his CV, achieved an international and macroeconomic vision and developed a great capacity to adapt to change."

Deusto Business School - Vizcaina Aguirre Foundation Grants

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

- Proof of residence which includes a list of all the persons residing in the home.
- A copy of the transcript of the degree programme giving access to the Master’s programme and which must include the grade point average obtained on a scale of 1 to 10.
- A letter of motivation.
- Photocopy of the entire income tax declaration of all the computable members in the family or a certificate from the - Treasury stating that it was not filed.
- If any of the computable family members was exempt from filing an income tax declaration, a certificate from the Treasury with an account assignment of the income for that exercise should be submitted.
- Certificates of all the family’s income during the year from unemployment benefits, pensions, promotion funds, etc. which are not shown in detail on the income tax statement.
- In cases of separation or divorce, proof of the updated amount of the pension received must be presented, or, if applicable, proof that it has not been collected.
- Proof of the following, if applicable to the applicant's situation: disability, orphanhood or member of a single parent family.
The UD Grants Service reserves the right to request any other necessary documents.

Eligibility

ACADEMIC CRITERIA

Applicants must have a grade point average of 6 or above on a scale of 0-10 (or the equivalent for foreign degree programmes) in the degree giving access to the Master's programme.

The applicant’s CV, reasons for choosing the Master’s degree programme, relationship with the University of Deusto and the socio-economic situation of his/her family unit will be taken into account.

Application Procedure

The "DBS - Vizcaína Aguirre Foundation Grants" seek to promote equal opportunities for students enrolled in postgraduate studies at Deusto Business School by offering financial support to those with limited economic resources that have demonstrated a good academic performance.

The grants are awarded in the form of tuition fees reduction (20% to 40%) for official Master's degree programmes at DBS (the contribution fee and credits recognition fees are not included).
