The University’s graduate programs in Visual Arts provide students with a range of courses, including studio practice, research, theory, masterclasses, fieldwork and other courses across the School of Art and allied areas. Students develop advanced skills and extend their understanding of creative practice. The program prepares students for careers as practising artists, teachers, administrators, or for work in museums, galleries, the public sector, private enterprise.

Appropriate level skills as demonstrated through portfolio and curriculum vitae and a four year bachelors degree either as honours or a combined degree in a cognate area from an Australian tertiary institution or its international equivalent or a three year bachelors degree in a cognate area with a minimum of two years relevant professional practice/experience. Equivalence may be met by the completion of the Graduate Certificate in Visual Arts or the Graduate Diploma in Visual Arts.Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae and a portfolio to substantiate their skills and professional experience.
