The Master of Veterinary Studies is a highly flexible program for applicants in animal and veterinary science who would like to create their own degree from the units of study on offer in postgraduate programs both within Veterinary Science and from related programs in other faculties. You may choose to undertake the Master of Veterinary Studies on-campus or in combination with distance units taught in interactive online classrooms. Some units of study are offered face to face, in classroom, tutorial, and laboratory format, and some are supervised, practical units of study for which you must arrange supervision prior to enrolment. This is not, however, designed to be a fully distance program. If you're an international student in Australia on a student visa, please note that you're able to undertake a maximum 12 credit points of online study toward your degree.
Please note that supervised clinical units of study are only available to students employed by the University Teaching Hospital in residency or intern programs.
