This course will prepare you to teach in secondary schools in all states and territories in Australia. The program includes detailed consideration of state and national core curriculum theory, teaching methodologies and classroom management. Your subjects will be taught through a blend of online distance learning and 15 days of face-to-face classes delivered in three five-day blocks. You'll also undertake 60 days of supervised teaching practice and complete a practitioner research project. You have the option to complete this degree in an accelerated 18 month path or extend it over 30 months.
English Language Requirements
An overall academic IELTS (or equivalent) score of 7.5 with no individual score below 7.0 and a score of no less than 8.0 in speaking and listening.
The course is recognised by the Victorian Institute of Teaching. International students should check the requirements of accreditation authorities in the location where they intend to teach.
