Life Sciences include scientific research directions with an interdisciplinary bias and a market orientation. The focus is on applying scientific findings from contemporary biology, chemistry, medicine and related fields.
The Master’s programme concentrates on the development of methodological and personal competences. Within the programme students can choose one subject specalisation: Food and Beverage Innovation, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Chemistry for the Life Sciences or Natural Resource Sciences.
The programme is divided into four parts:

Start for spring or autumn semester: Bachelor’s degree holders from universities of applied sciences must have a final ECTS grade A or B. Holders of diplomas from a Swiss or foreign university of applied sciences or predecessor school must have an average mark of at least 5.0 (Swiss mark system). Graduates with former FH diploma (predecessor of the Bachelor's degree) with at least 2 years professional experience and/or postgraduate studies in the corresponding field may transfer credits after consultation with the program director. Candidates with equivalent qualifications in a scientific field and relevant professional experience can be accepted "sur dossier".
