Course content

The graduate program in electrical engineering combines theoretical fundamentals as well as practical aspects in this dynamic eld, and educates students in the practices, methodologies, and techniques while working closely with an electrical engineering faculty in a contemporary research area. RIT Dubai oer MS degree in electrical engineering with focus areas in communications and control systems.

Other focus areas are available at RIT New York through study abroad or transfer options, subject to approvals. Students employed full-time in industry can register for two courses or six credits each semester. It is possible for a student to obtain the MS degree in 18 -24 months (or four academic semesters) by taking courses in early evening only.

The Master of Science (MS) degree in electrical engineering is awarded upon successful completion of an approved program of study, including courses in such areas as engineering mathematics, communications, and control.

Students have the option to graduate on either thesis, graduate paper, or comprehensive exam option. RIT Dubai oers the program in its entirety in Dubai, but students have the option of studying at or transferring to the main campus in
Rochester, New York, subject to achieving additional respective requirements and approvals.

Part-Time Option
Since all courses are offered during the evening from 6 - 9 pm, the master's program can be completed without interruption of the student's existing employment
commitments.
