Master of Science in Economics


Course Description

The Laurea Magistralis in Economics (LMEC) is a two-year Master of Science program entirely taught in English that aims at providing students with the analytical tools for a successful academic career or for working as professional economists in private and public institutions.
Students will be offered extensive and rigorous training in economics, econometrics, mathematics and statistics. They will be guided through the programme under close supervision from senior and junior academics of international reputation who are full time members of the Economics Department at the University of Bologna. Upon successful completion of the requirements for the LMEC, students may be admitted to the Ph.D. program in Economics offered by the Department of Economics.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Economics and related fields. Good knowledge of both written and spoken English is a prerequisite for admission.
