Master of Science in Business Administration in International Management


Course Description

The mission of the Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) Program is to provide high quality business education to those who strive to become leaders in business, government and education. The MSBA program is a one-year program that builds a competency in international management coupled with a comprehensive business foundation. The MSBA program is committed to academic excellence, maintaining a collaborative learning environment, providing high quality student service and developing lifelong learning skills. Students in the MSBA program will:

-Learn to combine knowledge and problem-solving skills in disciplines such as economics, finance, marketing, operations, management, and accounting.
-Enhance the development of critical managerial skills in the areas of leadership, teamwork, ethics, and communication.
-Obtain a firm understanding of international management strategy and global business operations.
-Gain a deep appreciation for using business tools for decision making and formulating global strategy.
-Enrich capacity to learn new concepts, think critically, and prepare for the challenges of tomorrow in a global environment.

Curriculum
The course requirements for the MSBA program consists of 40 credit hours drawn from a set of core courses and elective courses offered through the Department of Business Administration. The MSBA Program is designed to be completed in one-year. Students may extend their plan of study by one semester if they plan to pursue a minor, which requires additional credit hours.

MSBA COURSE CURRICULUM:
Our courses are progressively structured and delivered in both eight and sixteen week modules, which allows us to dive deep into a vast array of important topics over the one-year time frame of the MSBA Program. Students may select courses which are either two credits or four credit courses to fulfill the program requirements.

Fall:
-Accounting Management & Control
-Managing Organizations
-Marketing Management
-Process Management or Supply Chain Management
-International Management Elective
-Global Perspectives in Business
-English as a Second Language (if required)

Spring:
-Introduction to Finance
-International Management Elective
-Various Business Administration Electives

Summer:
-International Management Elective

Fall 2016: $19,808

Summer 2017: Based on Number of Credit Hours Registered

Admission decisions are made by the admissions committee and are based on:-previous academic accomplishments-demonstrated potential for graduate and professional successreferences-TOEFL/IELTS test scores (for International Students)Note: The GRE/GMAT test scores are not required for admission
