About the course
As a prospective student, the programme will integrate your studies with other students from different faculties, each with a specific background knowledge that forms part of biomedical engineering (BME), with the aim of creating the necessary background for the future cross-disciplinary integration of engineering, biomedical, and clinical fields, to overcome existing bottlenecks in the area of BME and its application to health care activities. Forming a part with this heterogenous cohort of students will provide you with all necessary skills, which will augment your capacity to appreciate and understand each other through collaborative work in biomedical engineering. This multidisciplinary approach is based on the expansion of engineering skills applied to biological systems and a solution of medical, pathological or trauma issues. This will encourage your innovative and creative approach towards problem solving strategies as a prospective Biomedical Engineer.
