Our Master of Public Health provides you with a strong background for a career in public health research or practice. In particular, it gives you a sound footing in the foundation disciplines of epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics and health promotion, plus an exploration of the broader social context in which public health programs are planned, delivered and evaluated.
This course can be completed by - coursework only - coursework plus project - coursework plus dissertation.
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have either (a) a bachelor's degree from this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty or (b) the Graduate Certificate in Population Health Studies from this University with a weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent, or equivalent as recognised by the FacultyEnglish Language Competence: All UWA coursework programs have a minimum level of English language competence necessary, for both Domestic and International students.
