Do you want to have more impact on policy? Are you keen to increase your knowledge of current policy debates, or learn how policy processes work and how to conduct policy research? Perhaps you're hoping to move into a policy position or expand your policy role?
The Master of Policy Studies aims to generate tangible change in educational and social services. Academic teaching staff are experts in the fields of education and social services and have been actively involved in policy processes in their area. You can choose from a range of units of study that will allow you to examine social policy frameworks and processes in a global context; consider theories of organisational management and administration; and learn about the ways in which organisations operate as learning committees and manage responses to cultural change. The course is distinctive in its attention to international policy trends, and is undertaken through international comparative analyses of policy debates and changes relating to human service organisations.
