Course content

The Master of Pharmacy is an innovative graduate-entry program designed for those wishing to fast-track a rewarding and challenging career in the pharmacy profession. If you already hold a university degree, this course provides you with the academic qualification needed to begin the registration process to become a pharmacist. With a strong practical focus, the Master of Pharmacy is designed to deliver graduates advanced clinical skills, ready for prominent roles in all aspects of the profession and for leadership in the use of innovative evidence based practice.
The course offers a mix of lectures, tutorials, labs, small group work, problem-based learning and clinical placements which develop valuable practical skills and experience. The Master of Pharmacy is accredited by the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) and allows graduates to progress towards registration as a pharmacist in Australia. On completion of this degree, and following a compulsory pre-registration training period that is required for all graduates, you will be eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and able to practise as a pharmacist.
